Jeremy's growing home and garden in North Carolina

The greenness and the humidity interplay to create a passion for gardening in Charlotte more so than I have ever seen. You can actually dig down here and in 18 inches you reach water, a feat one could never do in Boulder! Overnight we watched the Hibiscus make more blossoms and everyday we watch the Gladiolas grow taller. Being in this place feels safe and is a therapeutic playground for those in need of rest, mainly me! It is easy to love all the plants that give back so much after giving so little to put them in the ground. We even were able to pick up plants from one of Jeremy's friends who is moving, and transplant them here! A 35 yr old Rhododendron, Azaleas and Hostas! The climbing Rose we took has decided not to live here because it must miss it's elderly home too much. But Roses are fickle and one can never tell what makes them so. I'll be writing more in the days to come as I learn this new Program to make photo gathering easier for myself!

You look as alive as the plants you find so invigorating. Wonderful! Can't wait to hear more.
